Mount Lebanon is a region rich in cultural heritage and historical significance. However many historic sites and cultural traditions have been threatened leading to negative impacts on the local economy and the well-being of the community. The research project focused on exploring the potential of a living heritage approach to promote sustainable tourism and economic development in Mount Lebanon. The project aims to identify sustainable solutions for the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage and natural beauty of the region. The project also focuses on promoting sustainable urban design and development that meets the needs of the local community.
