El Noba Culture Center

Location: Noba, Egypt.
Date: 2016.

The creation process of the Culture Center was driven by the need to create a space that would be a hub for cultural expression and creativity. Our team recognized the importance of designing a building that would celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the region and provide a platform for new artistic ideas.

We were inspired by the traditional dome architecture style, which has been a hallmark of Egyptian architecture for centuries. We set out to create a space that would be both aesthetically pleasing and functional for a range of cultural activities. The area of the Culture Center is 5170 square meters with a building area of 3700 square meters, providing ample space for a variety of cultural events and exhibitions.

The Culture Center is divided into two floors. The first floor consists of a cultural café, a VIP hall, a public library, residence rooms for incoming artists, and an outdoor theatre. We designed the first floor to be a bright and welcoming space that would inspire creativity and artistic expression. The cultural café is a particular highlight, designed to be a comfortable and relaxing space where visitors can enjoy the atmosphere.

The second floor of the Culture Center houses the main hall for exhibitions and events, an area for handicrafts, a hall for children's activities, and some administrative rooms. We designed the main hall to be a large and versatile space that can accommodate a range of cultural activities. The area for handicrafts and the hall for children's activities were designed to be engaging spaces where visitors can learn about traditional arts and crafts.

Throughout the creation process, we worked closely with the client to ensure that the Culture Center would meet their unique needs and preferences. We carefully selected materials and finishes that would be both beautiful and durable, while incorporating the latest technology and equipment to ensure that the space would be adaptable to a range of cultural activities.

The ending result is a Culture Center that is not only functional but also visually stunning. It is a space that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the region while also providing a platform for new artistic ideas and expressions. We are proud to have created a space that will make a positive impact on the lives of visitors for years to come, serving as a testament to our commitment to creating beautiful and sustainable cultural spaces.
