Cairo has grown and many of its historic urban quarters have fallen into disrepair, threatening the cultural heritage and historic significance of the city. The research project aims to revitalize the historic urban quarter of Al-Muizz Street in Cairo using sustainable development concepts. The research project takes a holistic approach to revitalization by studying the cultural, social, and economic significance of the area, and identifying sustainable solutions for the preservation and restoration of the historic architecture and cultural heritage of the area. The project also focuses on promoting sustainable tourism and economic development that benefits the local community.
