The outdoor spaces are important for promoting children's physical and mental well-being as low-income neighborhoods lead to negative impacts on children's health and well-being. The project aims to identify the key factors that contribute to child-friendly outdoor spaces, including safety, accessibility, playability, and social interaction, and develop guidelines and recommendations for the design and construction of safe, accessible, and child-friendly outdoor spaces. The project also focuses on promoting sustainable development and community empowerment by identifying sustainable materials and construction methods. The project has the potential to improve the quality of life for children and families in low-income neighborhoods.
